SiD and the Adult Literacy Hotline Will Include Disability Accommodations – Webinar for Minnesota ABE Staff

Description: Literacy Minnesota, PANDA and Urban Planet are teaming up to co-present a webinar announcing new disability accommodation search options integrated into SiD and the Adult Literacy Hotline. These expanded search options will allow your ABE program to add currently offered accommodations and give adult learners more access to seek available accommodations. New search options include accommodations for blindness or low vision, deafness or hearing loss, accessible buildings and more. Join us on Tuesday, October 6 from 2-3 p.m. to learn more about these exciting new updates, resources available to your ABE program to make accommodations and the importance of accessible learning centers. If you cannot locate it, make sure you’ve registered correctly by consulting the written directions or video below; the registration includes TWO screens where you must enter your information – make sure you go all the way through!

Registration is open up until the webinar start time, but we recommend registering at least one day in advance if possible in case you need assistance. Due to the high volume of attendance at webinars, we may not be able to get back to you if you request registration assistance immediately before or at the webinar start time.

Register one person:

  • Click "Add" next to "Register here."
  • Enter your information and click "Continue." (Please note that this screen can be difficult to see on a mobile device -- you may need to zoom out.)
  • Click "Continue" again.
  • Fill out the Additional Information by clicking "Copy from" next to your name.
  • Click "Process" and you will see the message "Thank you for registering." at the bottom of the screen.

Register multiple people:

  • Click "Add" next to "Register here."
  • Enter your information and click "Continue." (Please note that this screen can be difficult to see on a mobile device -- you may need to zoom out.)
  • Click "Add New Group/Attendees" to add others. Enter their information and click "Continue." Repeat for all attendees.
  • Click "Continue" again.
  • Fill out the Additional Information by clicking "Copy from" next to your name.
  • Click "Process" and you will see the message "Thank you for registering." at the bottom of the screen.
