Description: Schools may be closed, but the learning hasn’t stopped! Adult ESL teachers and tutors are finding creative ways to help learners continue to develop their English skills. In this webinar, learn about the phone app WhatsApp, and explore its advantages and limitations as an instructional platform. Discover a variety of ESL conversation activities that can be effectively used remotely, and have the opportunity to try several out with fellow tutors.
CEUs will be emailed to participants after the webinar, typically within 1-2 business days. Webinars are not recorded, but please check literacymn.org/volunteer-trainings for additional sessions.
**This training is for current volunteers or for those who would like to learn more about the topic. Due to COVID-19, there are currently few openings for new volunteers. Please check back for opportunities in the fall.**
