Assisting Adult Learners with Voter Registration During COVID-19

Description: Can you talk about the election and voting with learners? YES you can! We have resources to help you start these important conversations and help learners register to vote safely from home with an absentee ballot! Join Literacy Minnesota and Erickson Saye, Voter Registration Director from Minnesota Voice, to learn how to assist learners through the voter registration process while remaining nonpartisan. Get answers to voting requirements, deadlines and current issues. You’ll also receive a voter registration handout and access to voter education curriculum to use in your tutoring sessions.

CEUs are NOT available for this session. This webinar will be recorded and available after the session.

**This training is for current volunteers or for those who would like to learn more about the topic. Due to COVID-19, there are currently few openings for new volunteers. Please check back for opportunities in the fall.**

  • Click "Continue" again.
  • Fill out the Additional Information by clicking "Copy from" next to your name.
  • Click "Process" and you will see the message "Thank you for registering." at the bottom of the screen.

Register multiple people:

  • Your $10 or $20 donation will help us do more to share the power of learning! Click "Add" next to one of the two "Register with a donation" options to make a tax-deductible gift. If you do not wish to make a donation, choose "Register for free."
  • Enter your information and click "Continue." (Please note that this screen can be difficult to see on a mobile device -- you may need to zoom out.)
  • Click "Add New Group/Attendees" to add others. Enter their information and click "Continue." Repeat for all attendees.
  • Click "Continue" again.
  • Fill out the Additional Information by clicking "Copy from" next to your name.
  • Click "Process" and you will see the message "Thank you for registering." at the bottom of the screen.

You will receive a registration confirmation email with a Zoom link to access the webinar. If you believe you have registered but do not receive an email, please check your spam/junk folder and email krynda@literacymn.org if you cannot locate it.
